Rescue Story: Durga's Journey from Tumor to Triumphs

Durga, an 8-year-old stray dog, was found in Nai Duniya Jharia with a massive 1-kilogram tumor that threatened her life. Our team rushed to her aid, and after a complex 4-hour surgery by Dr. Kundan Kumar, Durga’s life was saved. Despite her age and frail condition, Durga’s resilience inspired us all. She has now been adopted by Neha Singh, who will provide her with a loving home. Durga’s story is a reminder of the power of compassion and the impact we can make together. Help us continue saving lives by donating today!

Frequently Asked Questions

Your questions, answered – find everything you need to know in one place.

The time will vary based on the condition of the animal and the number of animal emergencies at that time. Our helpline call attendants send the ambulances to the most critical animals first, such as animals who are unable to walk, have fractures, are bleeding, etc.

If it’s taking time for the ambulance to reach, please know that it’s because there are more critical rescues required first.

If you can bring the animal to Animal Aid yourself this is greatly appreciated and will ensure fast treatment.
